“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful implanted in the human soul.”
Johann Wolfgang Goethe

I love Goethe. He is just a chill, relaxed and inspired guy. I'm sure we would have been mates if we ever got the chance.

Just a simple guy. Not trying to hard to be what he was. An artist.

Arming the world and then sending troops over

So North Korea is showing us some attitude again. I stumbled upon an article with some cool stuff which reminded me of other stuff from the past.
GUESS WHO ARMED THOSE FUCKERS ?

According to a Swiss national newspaper (checkout their sources) Donald Rumsfeld was involved. Amidst the cacophony of condemnation from all sides following North Korea’s second nuclear bomb test, there has been no mention whatsoever of how the secretive Stalinist state got its weapons in the first place - they were paid for by the U.S. government.

Both the Clinton and Bush administrations played a key role in helping Kim Jong-Il develop North Korea’s nuclear prowess from the mid 1990’s onwards.

The hypocrisy being spewed forth from all sides in reaction to yesterday’s news that North Korea tested an underground nuclear device equivalent to 10 times the power of their first test in October 2006 is akin to when the U.S. cited Iraq’s possession of chemical and biological weapons as a reason to invade in 2003, having first checked the receipt of course, since it was Donald Rumsfeld who brokered the deal to supply Saddam with those weapons in the first place.

Rumsfeld was also the man who presided over a $200 million dollar contract to deliver equipment and services to build two light water reactor stations in North Korea in January 2000 when he was an executive director of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri). Wolfram Eberhardt, a spokesman for ABB confirmed that Rumsfeld was at nearly all the board meetings during his involvement with the company.

In April 2002, the Bush administration announced that it would release $95 million of American taxpayer’s dollars to begin construction of the ‘harmless’ light water reactors in North Korea. Bush argued that arming the megalomaniac dictator Kim Jong-Il with the potential to produce a hundred nukes a year was, “vital to the national security interests of the United States.” Bush released even more money in January 2003, as was reported by BloombergNews.

AGAIN so it seems. Because on this picture from the 80ies he is seen with Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. Selling him the shitty weapons and telling him that he could attack any nation he wanted to.
Donald Rumsfeld, what a character

Unfortunately the United States has a long history with supporting their enemies to fight other enemies. Don't ever forget they..
..Financed Russian Revolution
..Financed Hitler (short clip historychannel about that)
..Financed and trained the muhajehedin (which turned into Al-Qaida, that scruffy movie with tom hanks -Charlie Wilson's War- is about that)
..Armed Saddam Hussein (well known fact)

Here is obama's former advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski (he didn't want to but had to quit..) standing with, and training OSAMA BIN LADEN. In his biography he wrote: I'd do it all again.
hmm

im not gonna dig any deeper. But I must have mentioned it here before. There is shitloads of money to be made from war. Influential people can make it happen. Napoleon already found that out. So if we ever get world peace through world government or something. Just know that those (influential)people allowed that to happen, so it must be in THEIR interest. It's got nothing to do will you or me.

Here's the fairly famous Bill Hicks routine:
I'm so sick of arming the world and then sending troops over to destroy the fucking arms, you know what I mean? We keep arming these little countries, then we go and blow the shit out of them. We're like the bullies of the world, you know.

We're like Jack Palance in the movie Shane, throwing the pistol at the sheep herder's feet: "Pick it up."

"I don't wanna pick it up mister, you'll shoot me."
"Pick up the gun."
"Mister, I don't want no trouble, huh. I just came down town here to get some hard rock candy for my kids, some gingham for my wife. I don't even know what gingham is, but she goes through about 10 rolls a week of that stuff. I ain't looking for no trouble, mister."

"Pick up the gun."

Boom, boom.

"You all saw him. He had a gun."

Sheds a whole new light on Bob Dylan's "Masters of War". You can hear it here, as I wrote about that song earlier.

My killer sandwich

It's a hard life ridding the world of all these fevered egos that are tainting our collective unconsciousness to make us pay a high psychological price then we all can imagine. It really works on my appetite.

I'm Italian therefore I cook. When I cook I try out different things. Often I mess up. Today, all my experience in the kitchen produced a wonderful new sandwich which I hereby declare mine and I will name and patent later. It's the best sandwich I ever ate and I have made, and eaten, many.

What do we need ?
french bread
(philadelphia) cheese spread
tomatoes
butter
olive oil
katenspek/bacon/zeeuwsspek
green pepper, something like that
salt obviously (put not that much, since the bacon is generally salty enough, but you already knew that right?)

Start with putting the butter and olive oil in the pan. Wait, first turn on the gas you fool ! When the butter has disintegrated completely put your tomatoes in. Slice them first ofcourse, and slice them properly for fucks sake, it's not that hard.

When they are in the pan you have time to cut your french bread in half and you can put some of that cheesy stuff on it. Makes it real creamy.
Having done this you turn the tomatoes, you don't want to have them burned on one side and raw on the other right ?
Now you make some space in the pan for a couple of pieces of katenspek/bacon/zeeuwsspek.

Get the tomatoes out of the pan when YOU think they are just the way you think they should be and put them on the bread along with the katenspek/bacon/zeeuwssspek. Don't forget to switch of the gas !

I am not responsible for any illnesses you get from trying out this recipe, it's at your own risk. If you don't like it you fucked up somewhere and you need more practice in the kitchen because this sandwich is awesome.

Buon appetito, this is how it looks like when it's done by a professional.

Amsterdam gets rid of 40% of its coffeeshops

Apparently the city was worried about its reputation abroad. Definitive plans by the city of amsterdam want to close 40% of the coffeeshops in the centre of the city within 3 to 6 years.

Everyone who knows their way around the shops in the capital knows that 60% of them are shite, still, WTF !!??

Closing all those shops does not mean that tourists will cease to buy the goods. They just don't have a place to sit around and do it peacefully without bothering anyone while their at it.
So here is my prediction:

A tourist (probably french) will wander on the streets of Amsterdam while high. Very high, for the first time in his life. Head like a rock spinning round and round he gets run over by a cyclist, or falls into the canal or a pigeon strikes him in the eyes.
The french tourist gets badly hurt and needs to go to the hospital, he barely survives this unfortunate course of events.

We all know what happens when french tourists get hurt. The french at home are outraged, they demand that the dutch alter their policy. And we as good Europeans immediately do so. Fucking french tourists..

I'm almost sure this will be the course of events, just like they banned the selling of magic mushrooms last year. Guess what ? People are still using them, but now they do so with no control or oversight or instructions. We are definitely improving society here, More danger to society, very 21st century.

Also they will close some of those famous windows where the prostitutes offer their services, I will not write about that because I don't feel the same passion for this subject but basically the story is the same.

Thank you satan

Eat your heart out Led Zeppelin !

I've always hated those people who play messages or songs backwards to prove a satanworshipping point. However, I was researching the internet for my upcoming post on Obama and I came across this youtubeclip of people recording his catchphrase YES WE CAN and then playing it backwards. The result is hilarious.

Here and here are some others who recorded it which are a bit clearer.

Ridiculous stuff

We were bound to

I have been working for months (but mostly thinking) on this post about the current economic/financial situation. Today, I threw it all away ! Ofcourse I didn't, but I am not going to post any of it. It included interviews with nobelprize winners, several economic theories and some documentaries. But today it daunted on me, something hit me. Somewhere right between the eyes. A thought far more important

Is there a crisis ? Well.. lets be honest, No ! A crisis is unforeseen, its something exceptional. This mess we are in today doesn't fit that description at all. For years people have been warning that this was around the corner. And they were very very very very sure about themselves, but how could they have been so sure then? Years and sometimes decades ago. Because this is a situation which HAD to happen, it could never have been avoided. Its logical.

Our world economy is based on growth. Everything and everyone must grow. Which is great, for a while at least. We must consume more, so we can produce more, so we can consume more so we can produce more. Etc.

The problem is that we only have one planet. Growth is not endless and definitely not continuous. But our economics NEEDS growth as it is based on it. Otherwise our systems collapse. It's that simple.

The climate is fucked up, the oil is running out, there is no more credit. It are all signs of the system reaching the pinnacle.

Our crisis is the cause of a diseased system. Throwing ridiculous amounts of money at the problem isn't going to change the faulty system, it's just taking care of the problems that arise from it. But they will come back. And then we need to throw more money. And then more, and more, and more !

Mr. Obama is not going to change anything.

A day with Bob Dylan

I'm experiencing a Bob Dylan phase. I Put him on my Ipod when I can't sleep at night, at a crazy drunk beachfest I am singin' and dancing along "Johnny's in the basement mixing up the medicine, I'm on the pavement thinking about the government"

WOW ! That's my life in a nutshell !

I just happened to come across this short video clip. Don't really know what it's supposed to mean but it made me laugh!

Probably stoned

Laughed my ass of watching Bob Dylan interviews on youtube, he's a proper legend.

Masters of war

Yesterday we commemorated all the war victims. So here is my favorite song on my Ipod when I am running along and jogging. It's some horrible singing by Bob Dylan but his voice has got loads of character, you can't beat that. I absolutely love the lyrics, they are perhaps even more true today then when Bob wrote it so many years ago.

In his lyrics Bob points out that wars are generally engineered for profit and that war basically is an industry in itself. That's why your average conspiracy lover adores this track.

Bob Dylan Masters Of War, Track 3 off the album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan.

Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build all the bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks.

You that never done nothin'
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly.

Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain.

You fasten all the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansion'
As young people's blood
Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud.

You've thrown the worst fear
That can ever be hurled
Fear to bring children
Into the world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood
That runs in your veins.

How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
That even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do.

Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul.

And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand over your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead.

Not so new

As a part-time conspiracy theorist I was not surprised at the headlines on those websites concerning the swine flu. Today I clicked on some of the links, and this was the information I found most interesting while browsing, I'm sure there is more. This is just the stuff that struck me as totally important and not questionable. Afterall, despite my alternative media sources, I'm a conservative guy.

Republican congress man DOCTOR Ron Paul about this swine flu, interesting points are addressed.

A new Pandemic means a new Vaccine- But wait a minute, apparently this one was a threat before and it is making a comeback. Here is the commercials for the Swine Flu outbreak in ‘76. The Swine Flu has to mutate to have an effect on humans because it doesn’t normally pass from Swine to humans. So now it has miraculously done so again. It is going to have to get in line with the other flus and vaccines the government keeps trying to scare us into taking.
